Meet Dr Jacqueline Wu (Dentist)
Dentistry runs in Dr Jacqueline’s family. As a third-generation dentist, following in the footsteps of her grandfather, father, and older brother, she grew up with a close connection to the profession. What she enjoys most is caring for people and helping them look after their oral health, particularly when dental concerns are affecting everyday activities, such as enjoying their favourite foods.
Education & Memberships
Dr Jacqueline graduated from the University of Queensland with a dental science degree in 2005 and spent two years practising with Queensland Health. She later completed a Master of Dental Science in Prosthodontics at National Yang Ming University in Taiwan in 2010.
Her academic achievements include the Dental Board of Queensland Prize in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine in 2004. In 2010, she represented Yang Ming University at the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) meeting in Barcelona and was invited to present at the FDI World Dental Federation event in Salvador da Bahia.
Dr Jacqueline continues her professional development through further education and a monthly peer study club. Her professional affiliations and credentials include:

- Australian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics
- International Team for Implantology (ITI)
- Taiwan Academy of Craniomandibular Disorders (TACMD)
- Association for Dental Sciences of the Republic of China
- Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry, Republic of China
- Australian registration as a general dentist
- Licensure in dental diagnostic radiography and laser apparatus
Languages spoken: English and Mandarin Chinese; also has an understanding of Taiwanese.
Outside of the Practice
Away from dentistry, Dr Jacqueline enjoys discovering new restaurants, sharing meals with family and friends, and attending regular yoga classes.
